The First Pour
If you’ve noticed a lot of steam coming from the US brew headquarters today, it’s not just the espresso machine. It’s the sound of us finally hitting “Publish.”
February 18, 2026
Today was a massive milestone. We officially launched our Substack, mapped out the best roasters from the Pacific Northwest to North Carolina, and kicked off our first-ever “Great American Brew-Off.”

Why US brew is doing this
To be honest, the “big coffee” world can feel a little cold sometimes. It’s either huge corporate chains or ultra-exclusive boutiques where you feel like you need a PhD to order a latte.
We started USbrew.com because we believe the best coffee in the world is being roasted right here in American neighborhoods—by people who care about the craft, the farmers, and the community.
What’s next for US brew?
We’re just getting started. This journal is where I’ll be sharing the “unfiltered” side of this journey—the late-night testing sessions, the roasteries we discover on road trips, and the honest mistakes we make along the way.
Thanks for being part of the first pour. Grab a mug and stick around; it’s going to be a caffeinated ride.
